The Lunar 2 Drawer Wall Mounted Console is an affordable mango wood chest of drawers. It features a floating, wall-mounted design that keeps the floor clear, 2 drawers, an open shelf for quick-grab items and soft, curved lines. It adds proper drawer storage to a bedroom, hallway or dressing area, with a solid top for a lamp, a mirror or framed photos. If you are shopping for a drawer chest for bedroom or an affordable chest of drawers, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
The frame is solid mango wood throughout. It is a heavy, close-grained hardwood that holds a finish well, and mango is often chosen as a sustainable option because the trees are harvested after their fruit-bearing years are over. Because it floats off the floor, you can vacuum underneath and the room feels more open. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor.
Durability and care
Built from solid timber rather than thin panels, it is made for regular daily use. It is intended for indoor use only. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away.
Where it fits in your home
In a dressing area, the top surface suits a mirror, jewellery tray or a few favourite fragrances. In a living room or dining room it can store table linens, board games and other items you want close but out of sight. In a hallway or entryway it can hold scarves, gloves, hats and bags, with the top serving as a landing spot for keys and mail. Mounted on the wall, it frees up floor space, makes cleaning underneath easy and helps smaller rooms feel more open. At 44 in wide and 6 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Mid-century modern, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors all suit it well. Its soft shapes balance straight-edged sofas and beds and work well in a mix of shapes.
