Meet the Large Chestnut Circular Open Bedside: a mango wood nightstand with a rich chestnut finish. It features 1 drawer, an open shelf for quick-grab items and soft, curved lines. A good bedside table should be useful at 11 pm and look good at 11 am, and this one is built to do both. If you are shopping for an affordable night stand or a nightstand with drawer, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
The frame is solid mango wood throughout. It is a heavy, close-grained hardwood that holds a finish well, and mango is often chosen as a sustainable option because the trees are harvested after their fruit-bearing years are over. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor. The open shelf is handy for books, baskets or anything you want within easy reach.
Durability and care
Built from solid timber rather than thin panels, it is made for regular daily use. It is intended for indoor use only. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from heat sources to help the finish last.
Where it fits in your home
In a guest room it gives visitors a place for a glass of water and a phone without crowding the space. Next to a daybed, armchair or reading corner it doubles as a compact side table for a cup of tea and a book. Use a pair on either side of the bed for a balanced, symmetrical look in a main bedroom. At 22 in wide and 24 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Mid-century modern, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors all suit it well. Its soft shapes balance straight-edged sofas and beds and work well in a mix of shapes.
