The Buffalo Brown Leather Ottoman with Castor Legs is an ottoman crafted from 100% solid mango wood. It features turned spindle detailing, brass-tone accents and castor legs for easy movement. Soft, practical and easy to move, an ottoman fills the gaps in a living space where you need an extra seat, a footrest or a table surface. If you are shopping for a bedroom storage ottoman or a sofa with matching ottoman, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
The frame is solid mango wood throughout. It is a heavy, close-grained hardwood that holds a finish well, and mango is often chosen as a sustainable option because the trees are harvested after their fruit-bearing years are over. Buffalo hide is a thick, hard-wearing leather with a natural grain that varies from piece to piece and develops character over time. Brass-tone accents add a subtle touch of warmth and polish to the overall design. Turned detailing gives the piece a crafted, traditional character. Brass-tone accents add a touch of warmth that works with many hardware finishes.
Durability and care
Built from solid timber rather than thin panels, it is made for regular daily use. It is intended for indoor use only. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from heat sources to help the finish last. For leather areas, dust with a dry cloth and condition occasionally to keep the surface supple.
Where it fits in your home
In a reading nook it pairs with an armchair to create a comfortable place to put your feet up. In a bedroom it adds a spot to sit while dressing, at the foot of a bed or beside a wardrobe. In a family room it adds flexible seating that is easy to move wherever it is needed. At 18 in wide and 24 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Mid-century modern, rustic and industrial interiors all suit it well. Its leather and wood combination suits dark metals, wool throws and bold, earthy colours.
