Meet the Turned Legs 3 Drawer Chestnut Console: a mango wood chest of drawers with a rich chestnut finish. It features 3 drawers, turned spindle detailing and brass-tone accents. It adds proper drawer storage to a bedroom, hallway or dressing area, with a solid top for a lamp, a mirror or framed photos. If you are shopping for a drawer chest for bedroom or an affordable chest of drawers, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
The frame is solid mango wood throughout. It is a heavy, close-grained hardwood that holds a finish well, and mango is often chosen as a sustainable option because the trees are harvested after their fruit-bearing years are over. Brass-tone accents add a subtle touch of warmth and polish to the overall design. Pieces in this collection are handcrafted, so small differences in finish and detail are normal and part of the charm. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor. Turned detailing gives the piece a crafted, traditional character.
Durability and care
With normal care, solid wood furniture can last for many years, and small marks can be sanded and refinished if needed. This piece is intended for indoor use. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away.
Where it fits in your home
In the bedroom it works as the main clothing storage for T-shirts, knitwear, pyjamas and underwear. In a living room or dining room it can store table linens, board games and other items you want close but out of sight. In a dressing area, the top surface suits a mirror, jewellery tray or a few favourite fragrances. Its compact size makes it a smart pick for small apartments, condos and tight corners. At 44 in wide and 32 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Heritage, Colonial and traditional interiors all suit it well. Its classic detailing blends with antiques, patterned rugs and richly coloured walls.
