It anchors a seating area, giving you a place for drinks, books, remotes and a plant or candle at arm’s length from the sofa. The Spindle Washed Coffee Table is a mango wood coffee table with a washed finish. It features an open shelf for quick-grab items and turned spindle detailing. If you are shopping for an affordable coffee table or a wood coffee table, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
Solid mango wood is a dense, hard-wearing hardwood with a distinctive grain. Because it is a natural material, every piece carries its own variations in tone, grain and small natural marks, so no two are exactly alike. Pieces in this collection are handcrafted, so small differences in finish and detail are normal and part of the charm. The open shelf is handy for books, baskets or anything you want within easy reach. Turned detailing gives the piece a crafted, traditional character.
Durability and care
Built from solid timber rather than thin panels, it is made for regular daily use. It is intended for indoor use only. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from heat sources to help the finish last.
Where it fits in your home
In a living room it sits in front of the sofa or between two armchairs as the focal point of the seating area. In a den or reading room it gives you a surface within reach of your favourite chair. In an open-plan space it helps define the lounge area and separate it from the dining zone. At 44 in wide and 18 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Colonial, vintage-inspired and transitional interiors all suit it well. Its classic detailing blends with antiques, patterned rugs and richly coloured walls.
