Belmont Coffee Table

The Belmont Coffee Table is a mango wood coffee table. It features drawer storage, soft, curved lines, woven texture and brass-tone accents. It anchors a seating area, giving you a place for drinks, books, remotes and a plant or candle at arm’s length from the sofa. If you are shopping for a round coffee table or a coffee table with storage, it is worth a closer look.

Material and build

This piece is built from 100% solid mango wood rather than veneer or particleboard. Mango is a dense hardwood known for strength and a lively grain, and the natural variations in colour and markings are part of its character. The woven rattan detailing adds texture and lets light pass through, giving the piece an airy, handcrafted feel. The velvet upholstery has a soft, plush feel and a gentle sheen that adds richness to the piece. Pieces in this collection are handcrafted, so small differences in finish and detail are normal and part of the charm. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor. Soft curves mean fewer sharp corners, which is welcome in tight bedrooms and busy hallways.

Durability and care

Solid wood is sturdy by nature and can be maintained or refinished over time, which is why it tends to outlast board-based furniture. It is designed for indoor use. Use coasters and trivets under hot or wet items, and wipe up spills promptly. For woven areas, dust with a soft brush or vacuum with a brush attachment, and avoid soaking them. For upholstered areas, vacuum with a soft attachment and brush gently along the pile.

Where it fits in your home

In a living room it sits in front of the sofa or between two armchairs as the focal point of the seating area. In a den or reading room it gives you a surface within reach of your favourite chair. In a family room it handles remote controls, drinks, snacks and game nights. At 34 in wide and 16.4 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.

Styles it pairs with

Eclectic, Japandi and organic modern interiors all suit it well. Its natural textures pair well with plants, cotton and linen, and woven baskets.
