Meet the Beaumont Marble Bedside: a mango wood nightstand. It features 1 drawer, an open shelf for quick-grab items, soft, curved lines and fluted, ribbed detailing. A good bedside table should be useful at 11 pm and look good at 11 am, and this one is built to do both. If you are shopping for a bedside table or a solid wood nightstand, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
This piece is built from 100% solid mango wood rather than veneer or particleboard. Mango is a dense hardwood known for strength and a lively grain, and the natural variations in colour and markings are part of its character. The marble detailing adds a cool, smooth contrast to the wood, and each stone has its own veining. Teak tones add a rich, golden warmth to the finish. Pieces in this collection are handcrafted, so small differences in finish and detail are normal and part of the charm. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor. The open shelf is handy for books, baskets or anything you want within easy reach.
Durability and care
Built from solid timber rather than thin panels, it is made for regular daily use. It is intended for indoor use only. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. On marble, wipe spills quickly and avoid acidic liquids such as citrus juice or wine, which can mark the surface.
Where it fits in your home
In a guest room it gives visitors a place for a glass of water and a phone without crowding the space. Next to a daybed, armchair or reading corner it doubles as a compact side table for a cup of tea and a book. Use a pair on either side of the bed for a balanced, symmetrical look in a main bedroom. At 17.6 in wide and 18.8 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Transitional, Art Deco-inspired and modern luxe interiors all suit it well. Its stone detail pairs well with neutral palettes, brass accents and statement lighting.
