It gives your TV a stable base and keeps media players, consoles, remotes and cables organised in one place. The Walnut Curved Two Drawer Media Unit is a solid wood media console with a walnut finish. It features 2 drawers and soft, curved lines. If you are shopping for a mid century modern media console or a modern wood tv stand, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
The frame is solid mango wood throughout. It is a heavy, close-grained hardwood that holds a finish well, and mango is often chosen as a sustainable option because the trees are harvested after their fruit-bearing years are over. Pieces in this collection are handcrafted, so small differences in finish and detail are normal and part of the charm. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor. Soft curves mean fewer sharp corners, which is welcome in tight bedrooms and busy hallways.
Durability and care
Built from solid timber rather than thin panels, it is made for regular daily use. It is intended for indoor use only. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away.
Where it fits in your home
In a living room it sits under or beside the TV as the focal point of the media wall. In a den or home theatre it provides a stable base for the screen, speakers and accessories. In a family room it keeps consoles, controllers, games and remotes tidy. At 36 in wide and 18 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Scandinavian, mid-century modern and contemporary interiors all suit it well. Its soft shapes balance straight-edged sofas and beds and work well in a mix of shapes.
