It adds proper drawer storage to a bedroom, hallway or dressing area, with a solid top for a lamp, a mirror or framed photos. The Compact Three Drawer Chest is a mango wood chest of drawers. It features 3 drawers. If you are shopping for a drawer chest for bedroom or a solid wood chest of drawers, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
The frame is solid mango wood throughout. It is a heavy, close-grained hardwood that holds a finish well, and mango is often chosen as a sustainable option because the trees are harvested after their fruit-bearing years are over. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor.
Durability and care
Solid wood is sturdy by nature and can be maintained or refinished over time, which is why it tends to outlast board-based furniture. It is designed for indoor use. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from heat sources to help the finish last.
Where it fits in your home
In a living room or dining room it can store table linens, board games and other items you want close but out of sight. In a dressing area, the top surface suits a mirror, jewellery tray or a few favourite fragrances. In a guest room or spare room it provides storage for visitors and spare bedding. Its compact size makes it a smart pick for small apartments, condos and tight corners. At 30 in wide and 32 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Modern farmhouse, Scandinavian and Japandi interiors all suit it well. Its warm wood tone pairs easily with neutral walls, linen textiles and black or brass hardware.
