Meet the Mini Oak-ish Floating Open nightstand: an affordable mango wood nightstand with a warm oak-toned finish. It features a floating, wall-mounted design that keeps the floor clear, 1 drawer, an open shelf for quick-grab items and soft, curved lines. A good bedside table should be useful at 11 pm and look good at 11 am, and this one is built to do both. If you are shopping for an affordable night stand or a solid wood nightstand, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
Solid mango wood is a dense, hard-wearing hardwood with a distinctive grain. Because it is a natural material, every piece carries its own variations in tone, grain and small natural marks, so no two are exactly alike. Because it floats off the floor, you can vacuum underneath and the room feels more open. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor.
Durability and care
Built from solid timber rather than thin panels, it is made for regular daily use. It is intended for indoor use only. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away.
Where it fits in your home
In the bedroom it sits comfortably beside a single, double or queen-size bed, so you can reach a lamp or a book without getting up. In a guest room it gives visitors a place for a glass of water and a phone without crowding the space. Use a pair on either side of the bed for a balanced, symmetrical look in a main bedroom. Mounted on the wall, it frees up floor space, makes cleaning underneath easy and helps smaller rooms feel more open. At 12 in wide, it fits into narrow spots where larger pieces will not.
Styles it pairs with
Scandinavian, contemporary and organic modern interiors all suit it well. Its soft shapes balance straight-edged sofas and beds and work well in a mix of shapes.
