Meet the Spindle Radiator Console Table: an affordable mango wood console table. It features drawer storage and turned spindle detailing. A console table is one of the easiest ways to make an entryway or hallway feel finished, and this one does it with solid-wood character. If you are shopping for a console table or a slim console table, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
The frame is solid mango wood throughout. It is a heavy, close-grained hardwood that holds a finish well, and mango is often chosen as a sustainable option because the trees are harvested after their fruit-bearing years are over. Pieces in this collection are handcrafted, so small differences in finish and detail are normal and part of the charm. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor. Turned detailing gives the piece a crafted, traditional character.
Durability and care
Built from solid timber rather than thin panels, it is made for regular daily use. It is intended for indoor use only. Use coasters and trivets under hot or wet items, and wipe up spills promptly. Because it is designed to sit near a radiator, keep a little air gap and avoid placing hot items directly on the surface.
Where it fits in your home
In a hallway it adds interest to an otherwise empty wall without blocking the walkway. Behind a sofa it works as a sofa table for lamps, books and plants, and it separates a seating area from the rest of an open-plan room. In an entryway it works as a landing spot for keys, mail and a bowl, with a mirror or artwork hung above. Its compact size makes it a smart pick for small apartments, condos and tight corners. At 36 in wide and 36 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Transitional, heritage and Colonial interiors all suit it well. Its classic detailing blends with antiques, patterned rugs and richly coloured walls.
