A console table is one of the easiest ways to make an entryway or hallway feel finished, and this one does it with solid-wood character. The Spindle Woven Console is an affordable mango wood console table. It features drawer storage, turned spindle detailing, woven texture and brass-tone accents. If you are shopping for a console table or a sofa table, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
The frame is solid mango wood throughout. It is a heavy, close-grained hardwood that holds a finish well, and mango is often chosen as a sustainable option because the trees are harvested after their fruit-bearing years are over. Brass-tone accents add a subtle touch of warmth and polish to the overall design. Pieces in this collection are handcrafted, so small differences in finish and detail are normal and part of the charm. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor. Turned detailing gives the piece a crafted, traditional character.
Durability and care
With normal care, solid wood furniture can last for many years, and small marks can be sanded and refinished if needed. This piece is intended for indoor use. Use coasters and trivets under hot or wet items, and wipe up spills promptly.
Where it fits in your home
In a hallway it adds interest to an otherwise empty wall without blocking the walkway. In a dining room it can act as a serving surface or a place to set drinks and dishes during gatherings. In a bedroom or home office it can be used as a slim desk or a dressing surface. At 46 in wide and 35.2 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Japandi, eclectic and organic modern interiors all suit it well. Its natural textures pair well with plants, cotton and linen, and woven baskets.
