The Chestnut Rounded Entertainment Unit is an affordable solid wood media console with a rich chestnut finish. It features 4 drawers, soft, curved lines and Nordic-style legs. More than a place to put the TV, it is a piece of furniture that ties the living room together and stores the things you want close but out of sight. If you are shopping for a modern wood tv stand or a media console, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
The frame is solid mango wood throughout. It is a heavy, close-grained hardwood that holds a finish well, and mango is often chosen as a sustainable option because the trees are harvested after their fruit-bearing years are over. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor. Soft curves mean fewer sharp corners, which is welcome in tight bedrooms and busy hallways.
Durability and care
With normal care, solid wood furniture can last for many years, and small marks can be sanded and refinished if needed. This piece is intended for indoor use. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from heat sources to help the finish last.
Where it fits in your home
In a living room it sits under or beside the TV as the focal point of the media wall. In a bedroom, a lower media unit works well for a TV at a comfortable viewing height. In a family room it keeps consoles, controllers, games and remotes tidy. At 44 in wide and 18.8 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Minimalist, mid-century modern and organic modern interiors all suit it well. Its soft shapes balance straight-edged sofas and beds and work well in a mix of shapes.
