It tucks away bulky items such as throws, spare bedding and seasonal items, and stays good-looking at the foot of a bed or in a living room. The Curva Storage Trunk is a storage trunk crafted from 100% solid mango wood. It features soft, curved lines. If you are shopping for a wooden trunk or a storage chest, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
The frame is solid mango wood throughout. It is a heavy, close-grained hardwood that holds a finish well, and mango is often chosen as a sustainable option because the trees are harvested after their fruit-bearing years are over. Soft curves mean fewer sharp corners, which is welcome in tight bedrooms and busy hallways.
Durability and care
Solid wood is sturdy by nature and can be maintained or refinished over time, which is why it tends to outlast board-based furniture. It is designed for indoor use. Use coasters and trivets under hot or wet items, and wipe up spills promptly.
Where it fits in your home
In a guest room it gives visitors a place to set a bag and store extra blankets. In an entryway it hides boots, scarves and winter accessories. In a living room it stores throws, games and remotes and can serve as a rustic coffee table. At 32 in wide and 15.2 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Minimalist, organic modern and mid-century modern interiors all suit it well. Its soft shapes balance straight-edged sofas and beds and work well in a mix of shapes.
