It gives you a stable place for a lamp, a book and a glass of water, with your phone charger and nightly essentials kept within arm’s reach. The Marble Crest Bedside is a mango wood nightstand. It features drawer storage, soft, curved lines, fluted, ribbed detailing and brass-tone accents. If you are shopping for a solid wood nightstand or an affordable night stand, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
This piece is built from 100% solid mango wood rather than veneer or particleboard. Mango is a dense hardwood known for strength and a lively grain, and the natural variations in colour and markings are part of its character. The marble detailing adds a cool, smooth contrast to the wood, and each stone has its own veining. Brass-tone accents add a subtle touch of warmth and polish to the overall design. Pieces in this collection are handcrafted, so small differences in finish and detail are normal and part of the charm. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor. Soft curves mean fewer sharp corners, which is welcome in tight bedrooms and busy hallways.
Durability and care
With normal care, solid wood furniture can last for many years, and small marks can be sanded and refinished if needed. This piece is intended for indoor use. Use coasters and trivets under hot or wet items, and wipe up spills promptly. On marble, wipe spills quickly and avoid acidic liquids such as citrus juice or wine, which can mark the surface.
Where it fits in your home
In a small apartment or studio it earns its place by adding surface and storage without a large footprint. In a guest room it gives visitors a place for a glass of water and a phone without crowding the space. Next to a daybed, armchair or reading corner it doubles as a compact side table for a cup of tea and a book. At 18 in wide and 19.6 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Art Deco-inspired, minimalist and transitional interiors all suit it well. Its stone detail pairs well with neutral palettes, brass accents and statement lighting.
