A good bedside table should be useful at 11 pm and look good at 11 am, and this one is built to do both. The Rounded Wall-Mounted Bedside in Classic Grey is an affordable mango wood nightstand with a classic grey wash finish. It features a floating, wall-mounted design that keeps the floor clear, drawer storage and soft, curved lines. If you are shopping for a floating nightstand with drawer or a solid wood nightstand, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
This piece is built from 100% solid mango wood rather than veneer or particleboard. Mango is a dense hardwood known for strength and a lively grain, and the natural variations in colour and markings are part of its character. Because it floats off the floor, you can vacuum underneath and the room feels more open. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor.
Durability and care
With normal care, solid wood furniture can last for many years, and small marks can be sanded and refinished if needed. This piece is intended for indoor use. Use coasters and trivets under hot or wet items, and wipe up spills promptly.
Where it fits in your home
Use a pair on either side of the bed for a balanced, symmetrical look in a main bedroom. Next to a daybed, armchair or reading corner it doubles as a compact side table for a cup of tea and a book. In a guest room it gives visitors a place for a glass of water and a phone without crowding the space. Mounted on the wall, it frees up floor space, makes cleaning underneath easy and helps smaller rooms feel more open. At 18 in wide and 6 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Industrial, contemporary and rustic interiors all suit it well. Its softer, weathered tone sits well with white, grey and natural fabrics.
