Meet the Soba Ball Open Coffee Table: a mango wood coffee table. It features an open shelf for quick-grab items. It anchors a seating area, giving you a place for drinks, books, remotes and a plant or candle at arm’s length from the sofa. If you are shopping for a wood coffee table or an affordable coffee table, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
Solid mango wood is a dense, hard-wearing hardwood with a distinctive grain. Because it is a natural material, every piece carries its own variations in tone, grain and small natural marks, so no two are exactly alike. The open shelf is handy for books, baskets or anything you want within easy reach.
Durability and care
With normal care, solid wood furniture can last for many years, and small marks can be sanded and refinished if needed. This piece is intended for indoor use. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away.
Where it fits in your home
In a living room it sits in front of the sofa or between two armchairs as the focal point of the seating area. In an open-plan space it helps define the lounge area and separate it from the dining zone. In a family room it handles remote controls, drinks, snacks and game nights. At 44 in wide and 17.6 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Transitional, Mid-century modern and Japandi interiors all suit it well. Its warm wood tone pairs easily with neutral walls, linen textiles and black or brass hardware.
