It gives your TV a stable base and keeps media players, consoles, remotes and cables organised in one place. The Soba Nordic Multi Media Unit is an affordable solid wood media console. It features fluted, ribbed detailing and Nordic-style legs. If you are shopping for a media console or an entertainment unit, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
Solid mango wood is a dense, hard-wearing hardwood with a distinctive grain. Because it is a natural material, every piece carries its own variations in tone, grain and small natural marks, so no two are exactly alike. Fluted detailing catches the light and adds texture without adding bulk. Nordic-style legs lift the piece off the floor for a lighter look.
Durability and care
With normal care, solid wood furniture can last for many years, and small marks can be sanded and refinished if needed. This piece is intended for indoor use. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away.
Where it fits in your home
In a living room it sits under or beside the TV as the focal point of the media wall. In a family room it keeps consoles, controllers, games and remotes tidy. In a bedroom, a lower media unit works well for a TV at a comfortable viewing height. At 44 in wide and 20 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Scandinavian, contemporary and organic modern interiors all suit it well. Its soft shapes balance straight-edged sofas and beds and work well in a mix of shapes.
