The Soba Straight Console Table is a mango wood console table. It features drawer storage. It gives a narrow wall a purpose, with a surface for keys, mail, a lamp and decor, and often storage below. If you are shopping for an affordable console table or a slim console table, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
This piece is built from 100% solid mango wood rather than veneer or particleboard. Mango is a dense hardwood known for strength and a lively grain, and the natural variations in colour and markings are part of its character. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor.
Durability and care
With normal care, solid wood furniture can last for many years, and small marks can be sanded and refinished if needed. This piece is intended for indoor use. Use coasters and trivets under hot or wet items, and wipe up spills promptly.
Where it fits in your home
Behind a sofa it works as a sofa table for lamps, books and plants, and it separates a seating area from the rest of an open-plan room. In an entryway it works as a landing spot for keys, mail and a bowl, with a mirror or artwork hung above. In a bedroom or home office it can be used as a slim desk or a dressing surface. Its compact size makes it a smart pick for small apartments, condos and tight corners. At 36 in wide and 32 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Modern farmhouse, Scandinavian and transitional interiors all suit it well. Its warm wood tone pairs easily with neutral walls, linen textiles and black or brass hardware.
