The Solis Linear Console is a mango wood console table. It features soft, curved lines. A console table is one of the easiest ways to make an entryway or hallway feel finished, and this one does it with solid-wood character. If you are shopping for an entryway table or a wood entryway table, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
The frame is solid mango wood throughout. It is a heavy, close-grained hardwood that holds a finish well, and mango is often chosen as a sustainable option because the trees are harvested after their fruit-bearing years are over. Pieces in this collection are handcrafted, so small differences in finish and detail are normal and part of the charm. Soft curves mean fewer sharp corners, which is welcome in tight bedrooms and busy hallways.
Durability and care
Solid wood is sturdy by nature and can be maintained or refinished over time, which is why it tends to outlast board-based furniture. It is designed for indoor use. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away.
Where it fits in your home
In a hallway it adds interest to an otherwise empty wall without blocking the walkway. In a bedroom or home office it can be used as a slim desk or a dressing surface. In a dining room it can act as a serving surface or a place to set drinks and dishes during gatherings. At 44 in wide and 4.8 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Organic modern, contemporary and mid-century modern interiors all suit it well. Its soft shapes balance straight-edged sofas and beds and work well in a mix of shapes.
