A side table does a lot of quiet work in a room, and this one adds a useful surface and a touch of craftsmanship. The The Bellis Marble Accent Table is a mango wood side table. If you are shopping for a side table with shelves or an end table, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
Solid mango wood is a dense, hard-wearing hardwood with a distinctive grain. Because it is a natural material, every piece carries its own variations in tone, grain and small natural marks, so no two are exactly alike. The marble detailing adds a cool, smooth contrast to the wood, and each stone has its own veining.
Durability and care
With normal care, solid wood furniture can last for many years, and small marks can be sanded and refinished if needed. This piece is intended for indoor use. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from heat sources to help the finish last. On marble, wipe spills quickly and avoid acidic liquids such as citrus juice or wine, which can mark the surface.
Where it fits in your home
Next to an armchair in a reading corner it provides a surface for a book and a cup of tea. In an entryway or hallway it provides a small landing surface for keys and mail. In a bedroom it can double as a bedside table or sit beside a bench or chaise. Its compact size makes it a smart pick for small apartments, condos and tight corners. At 15.2 in wide and 24 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Modern luxe, contemporary and Art Deco-inspired interiors all suit it well. Its stone detail pairs well with neutral palettes, brass accents and statement lighting.
