A good bedside table should be useful at 11 pm and look good at 11 am, and this one is built to do both. The Beaumont Wall-Mounted Bedside is a mango wood nightstand. It features a floating, wall-mounted design that keeps the floor clear, fluted, ribbed detailing and brass-tone accents. If you are shopping for a solid wood nightstand or a wall mounted bedside table, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
Solid mango wood is a dense, hard-wearing hardwood with a distinctive grain. Because it is a natural material, every piece carries its own variations in tone, grain and small natural marks, so no two are exactly alike. The marble detailing adds a cool, smooth contrast to the wood, and each stone has its own veining. Brass-tone accents add a subtle touch of warmth and polish to the overall design. Because it floats off the floor, you can vacuum underneath and the room feels more open. Fluted detailing catches the light and adds texture without adding bulk.
Durability and care
With normal care, solid wood furniture can last for many years, and small marks can be sanded and refinished if needed. This piece is intended for indoor use. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from heat sources to help the finish last. On marble, wipe spills quickly and avoid acidic liquids such as citrus juice or wine, which can mark the surface.
Where it fits in your home
Use a pair on either side of the bed for a balanced, symmetrical look in a main bedroom. In a guest room it gives visitors a place for a glass of water and a phone without crowding the space. In the bedroom it sits comfortably beside a single, double or queen-size bed, so you can reach a lamp or a book without getting up. Mounted on the wall, it frees up floor space, makes cleaning underneath easy and helps smaller rooms feel more open. At 17.6 in wide and 8 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Modern luxe, contemporary and Art Deco-inspired interiors all suit it well. Its stone detail pairs well with neutral palettes, brass accents and statement lighting.
