A console table is one of the easiest ways to make an entryway or hallway feel finished, and this one does it with solid-wood character. The Curved California Walnut Console Table is a mango wood console table with a rich California walnut finish. It features 2 drawers, an open shelf for quick-grab items, soft, curved lines and Nordic-style legs. If you are shopping for a console table or a sofa table, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
This piece is built from 100% solid mango wood rather than veneer or particleboard. Mango is a dense hardwood known for strength and a lively grain, and the natural variations in colour and markings are part of its character. Drawer storage keeps small items out of sight so the top stays clear for a lamp or decor. The open shelf is handy for books, baskets or anything you want within easy reach.
Durability and care
With normal care, solid wood furniture can last for many years, and small marks can be sanded and refinished if needed. This piece is intended for indoor use. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away.
Where it fits in your home
In a dining room it can act as a serving surface or a place to set drinks and dishes during gatherings. Behind a sofa it works as a sofa table for lamps, books and plants, and it separates a seating area from the rest of an open-plan room. In a hallway it adds interest to an otherwise empty wall without blocking the walkway. At 36 in wide and 36 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Scandinavian, organic modern and mid-century modern interiors all suit it well. Its soft shapes balance straight-edged sofas and beds and work well in a mix of shapes.
