Compact enough to move around and solid enough to rely on, it is a flexible addition to almost any seating area. The Spindle Washed Round Table is a mango wood side table with a washed finish. It features soft, curved lines and turned spindle detailing. If you are shopping for a side table with shelves or a round side table, it is worth a closer look.
Material and build
The frame is solid mango wood throughout. It is a heavy, close-grained hardwood that holds a finish well, and mango is often chosen as a sustainable option because the trees are harvested after their fruit-bearing years are over. Pieces in this collection are handcrafted, so small differences in finish and detail are normal and part of the charm. Soft curves mean fewer sharp corners, which is welcome in tight bedrooms and busy hallways. Turned detailing gives the piece a crafted, traditional character.
Durability and care
With normal care, solid wood furniture can last for many years, and small marks can be sanded and refinished if needed. This piece is intended for indoor use. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away.
Where it fits in your home
In a bedroom it can double as a bedside table or sit beside a bench or chaise. In an entryway or hallway it provides a small landing surface for keys and mail. Grouped with a coffee table, it adds layered height and extra surface to a seating area. At 18 in wide and 22 in tall, it is a sensible size for most standard rooms.
Styles it pairs with
Colonial, vintage-inspired and traditional interiors all suit it well. Its classic detailing blends with antiques, patterned rugs and richly coloured walls.
